Role Overview

We are looking for someone to fill a position as a Wholesale Account Manager. This person must have excellent coffee knowledge and demonstrable experience working in hospitality (preferably coffee focused).  

Day to day responsibilities in looking after clients will vary greatly depending on their needs. Some of the main things you will need to cover are training, problem solving, translating industry and coffee knowledge, build & equipment consultancy for new sites, orders and invoicing analysis and facilitating technical support.  

You will be working autonomously much of the time so you will need to be comfortable making decisions and taking personal ownership. Personal time management will also be critical for your success.  

The position will be based out of our roastery but will require travel around London based clients throughout the week, as well as occasionally to other parts of the UK. 

Main working hours are 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday, you will periodically be required to work outside of these hours however for events or for particular client needs. You will also be required to be on-call one weekend in every three to respond to client emergencies. 

Role Responsibilities

    • Advocate our products, mission and USP’s to our clients 
    • Look for opportunities to engage with and support wholesale accounts 
    • Maintain relationships with assigned accounts and their key stakeholders 
    • Actively communicate with clients about our service and ways we can assist/support their business 
    • Monitor ordering patterns and address changes in volume 
    • Be able to perform first-fix repairs on coffee equipment 
    • Coordinate and process 3rd party technical support for your clients 
    • Conduct trainings each week in the Brixton Roastery 
    • Conduct on or off-site dedicated trainings for clients as required 

Personal Skills / Experience desired

    • Strong base of coffee knowledge 
    • Excellent customer service skills 
    • Strong experience in hospitality, preferably based around coffee 
    • Full UK Driver’s License - essential 
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
    • Experience with ordering & inventory, and CRM systems
