Opportunity: Technical Assistant

What we need 

We need someone who is calm under pressure but can also work quickly and autonomously in a variety of different situations. You're the type of person who doesn't wait to get your hands dirty but you also understand when it's time to present professionally and exceed the expectations of our customers.

 

 

What you need to have

• Personable social skills and the ability to manage expectations and build relationships 
• Professional coffee knowledge to respond to, and interact with, coffee focussed businesses each day
• Time management skills and the ability to work autonomously towards objectives
• Quick thinking and problem solving ability in a work environment where no two days are identical
• A UK Driver's License. This will be mandatory for succeeding in your role and we also require candidates to be over 25 for insurance purposes.

What you'd be responsible for

• Technical support - remote and in-person assistance for our wholesale partners whether it be preventative or corrective repairs for coffee equipment
• Reporting - using CRM and inventory systems to track and report on technical work undertaken whether in-house or via third parties
• Inventory management - manage stock and up-to-date prices for the parts and equipment assets in our business
• Events - participating in event support with the marketing and new business internal teams
• Training - both internally for relevant teams and advising partners on optimum equipment for their business

Bear in mind

• This role is a key contributor to the smooth operating of our business so naturally requires physical presence at either our Brixton or West Norwood sites and the flexibility to travel/ drive independently
