Buno Coffee Trading
The high altitude, lush hillside forests and native trees of Guji provide optimum growing conditions for high-quality coffees. Established in 2018, Buno Coffee Trading oversees seven washing stations across the region - some of which have been operating for over 20 years.
This particular lot is an amalgamation of coffees from nine local smallholder farmers. Processed as a traditional natural, the coffees were floated to remove unripe and immature cherries before being laid out on raised beds to dry for up to 35 days until they reached the desired moisture content.
In the cup, Korate has all the qualities everyone treasures in naturally-processed Ethiopian coffees. The texture is super juicy, there are plenty of berry flavours, and the aroma is fresh and fragrant.
