The Dalton family and Guatemalan coffee
Operated by members of the fifth and sixth generations of the Dalton family, Bosques de San Francisco has been producing coffee since 1864. Considered pioneers of Guatemalan coffee, the family's reputation precedes them. It is widely accepted that they played the crucial role in establishing Antigua as the country's first coffee growing region.
Coffees from the region are celebrated for their smoothness, fruitiness and rich chocolate notes. Prominent sweetness and moderate acidity means they're versatile and can be enjoyed to the fullest in a variety of brew methods.
In the cup this coffee carries all the hallmarks of a high quality lot grown in Antigua. It's indulgent, easy-drinking and an exceptional expression of this celebrated origin.
