TANCHEN Studio takes a process-based approach to design with a focus on new materials and tactility. They create functional textiles that can be used as autonomous and artful elements within a living space, sourcing and designing mindfully to celebrate the potential of materials, craft, and techniques.

This coaster is woven using nylon ribbon recycled from another product of theirs - the Mahza Stool. 

Assembly is the exclusive distributor for Tanchen in the UK, you can't get these anywhere else in the country.
