Making espresso? The Weber Unibasket is your shortcut to ultimate flavour extraction. A pioneering manufacturing process facilitates up to a 30% increase in surface area – and subsequent 2-3% increase in extraction yield - versus a portafilter basket made via traditional methods.
Additionally, whereas typical baskets are made from 0.5mm stainless steel, the Unibasket is forged from 1.2mm of the same material. The added thickness significantly improves the rigidity of the coffee puck during extraction and eliminates the bottom of the basket from bowing – both common causes of unwanted channelling.
Compatibility
The Weber Unibasket will fit most bottomless group handles. It is not compatible with bottomless group handles by ECM, Slayer, Gaggia, Rancillio, Breville. It is compatible with Lelit and Rocket but the flow can catch on the bottom opening.
