This limited pre-release introduces our first ever drip bag. Featuring coffee of the same precision and flavour quality as our flagship range, roasted and packed to deliver clarity, sweetness, and balance without compromise.
Each bag contains a single-serve portion of freshly-ground coffee, nitrogen-flushed and sealed for peak freshness. Designed for effortless brewing - simply add hot water for a clean, consistent cup, wherever you are.
Produced in small quantity ahead of our full launch, this pre-release offers an early opportunity to experience the next evolution of Assembly coffee - crafted for portability and accessibility.
The coffee we've selected for this first iteration is a naturally-processed coffee produced in the Ethiopian highlands. It's a classic expression of this much-loved origin: juicy, floral and sweet.
From the high-altitude highlands of Ethiopia, this naturally processed coffee brings the vibrancy that coffees from this region are known for, into the easiest brew format yet. Juicy fruit, floral clarity and refined sweetness — then packed into our single-serve drip bag.
Contents
Each box contains 8 coffee drip bags (single-serve). Each bag holds 11g of ground coffee, designed for one cup of 230-260ml.
How to brew
-
Open Drip bag by tearing along the perforated.
-
Secure drip bag by opening the sidearms and placing them over the edge of your cup/server.
-
Add 180g of filtered water at 96- 98°C in four equal pours of 45g. allowing each pour to pass through the coffee fully before pouring again.
You'll find the Rumudamo washing station, overseen by established Ethiopian coffee exporters Daye Bensa, in the village of the same name within the prized coffee-growing region of Sidama.
The notably high elevations of the area have led to coffees produced here being categorized as 'highland coffee' and often these lots do exhibit the prominent sweetness and rich fruit notes associated with elongated periods of maturation.
This specific coffee does exactly that and is one of the finest of its kind we've enjoyed in recent years. Fruit-forward and weighty in texture, it's an exceptional expression of high-quality Ethiopian natural coffee. A real joy.
