Opportunity: Mid-level Designer

Role Overview

Reporting directly to the Brand Director, you’ll be joining a group of colleagues who value ambition, enthusiasm and camaraderie. As a small yet determined team we thrive on surfacing and celebrating  innovation in the speciality coffee industry and while our ambitions are grand our work environment is laid-back.

We’re seeking a mid-level designer to join this team and hoping to find someone with rigorous attention to detail and high standards of execution to manage the production of all internal design assets. While there are regular opportunities for creative exploration projects, the ideal candidate will primarily be responsible for ensuring that internal design work adheres to brand standards and guidelines. Moreover, they should be capable of producing artworks reliably and efficiently in collaboration with internal teams.



  • Internal Design Production:
    • Manage the design production process for various internal assets, including packaging, marketing materials, social media graphics, and other brand-related visuals.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand design requirements and deliver on-time and accurate design solutions.
  • Brand Guidelines Adherence:
    • Ensure that all design work aligns with established brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across various platforms and communication materials.
    • Strive to uphold the visual identity and essence of our brand in all design outputs.
  • Print and Packaging Design:
    • Demonstrate expertise in print and packaging design, ensuring that artworks are print-ready and meet industry standards.
    • Collaborate with external print partners to oversee the production process and quality control.
  • Digital Design:
    • Create compelling and visually appealing digital assets for our website, social media channels, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
    • Stay informed about design trends and digital best practices to continually elevate our online presence.
  • Collaboration with External Creatives:
    • Work closely with external creative partners, such as motion designers, illustrators, photographers, videographers, and identity designers both for campaigns and new creative projects



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Graphic Design or a related field.
  • A portfolio showcasing a diverse range of print, packaging, and digital design work.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a professional design role, preferably within the food and beverage industry or related fields.
  • Advanced proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
  • Strong attention to detail and a track record of maintaining high design standards.
  • Solid understanding of print production processes and packaging design principles.
  • Familiarity with digital design trends, social media platforms, and responsive design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team and with external partners.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects with varying deadlines.
