Assembly x Skye Corewijn
Skye Corewijn is a London-based potter who has worked with us on several occasions to create drinkware designed specifically for coffee.
Skye makes clean and simple silhouettes which emphasise the tactility of the materials used and always put the purpose of their use at the forefront of design.
This cup has been designed with function in mind. The diameter and 10oz (284ml) capacity have been measured to facilitate brewing with the majority of conventional filter brewing methods (V60, Aeropress, Kalita). This allows you to enjoy your brewed coffee straight from the cup with no decanting between vessels needed.
In place of conventional handles are thumb dimples that fit snugly in the hand and allow for contact with the coarse outer texture of the cup. The walls retain heat and are comfortable to hold at drinking temperature.
As these are thrown on the wheel and glazed by hand, sizes, colour and glaze effects may vary slightly.
